Freelance
Victoria, BC.
NRG Enterprises is a Canadian distributor that provides bike shops with products from iconic brands such as Hope Tech, Chromag Bikes, Mavic, Ortlieb, Dissent Labs, Cushcore, Galfer, Leatt, Maxxis, and more. I had the opportunity to shoot product and athlete photos for NRG and got to try out the Hope XCR Pro E4 brakes on my bike. Shooting for NRG was an excellent opportunity to share the stoke for unique products in the Bike Industry.
Island Cup SERIES
Volunteer
Vancouver Island, BC.
Mountain Bike racing is the best way for riders of all ages to put their progression to the test, but with that comes the tradeoff of having a stressful and uninviting environment for beginners. The Island Cup series is the opposite of that, with fun, casual racing across Vancouver Island. As a volunteer photographer, I have been fortunate to help share the good times in the Enduro and cross-country events during the 2024 season.
Marty’s Mountain Cycle
Contract
Victoria, BC.
Working in Victoria´s original Mountain Bike shop has been a unique experience, from riding with Wade Simmons (A.K.A. The Godfather of Freeride) to performing tune-ups on commuter bikes. I am grateful to have the opportunity to share the story of this bike shop, which has been present in the development of Mountain Biking in the South Vancouver Island Area since 1990.
PATAGONIA
Freelance
Victoria, BC.
Connecting with nature is one of the things I enjoy the most in life. Working with a like-minded company like Patagonia was a pleasure as they screened their new movie, "Running for Air," in their Victoria store. After the screening, local running enthusiasts enjoyed the ocean breeze as they ran along the coast. This shoot was an excellent chance to capture the fantastic running community that the City of Victoria has.
TranSierra Norte
Contract
Oaxaca, Mexico.
TranSierra Norte is an International Enduro Race in Oaxaca Mexico. Celebrating the day of the dead and discovering the corners of the Sierra Norte through the ups and downs of Mountain Bike Racing is what makes this event special. My responsibilities for the event and year-round tours included: Marketing strategy, social media, photography, copywriting, editing, sponsorship management, video production, customer service, publishing, and athlete management. Sharing my culture through mountain biking has to be the most satisfying thing ever.
RideWrap Bicycle Protection Inc.
Internship
Whistler, BC, Canada.
I had the opportunity to work at RideWrap to complete my Co-Op from the Marketing Program at Whistler Adventure School. During my time at RW, I developed a strategic sales expansion plan for the Mexican market, wrote copy and translated info sheets for the new website, snapped photos, and performed a market analysis with different social media analytic tools. Working in a fast-growing company with a team of talented like-minded individuals was a gripping experience.
Trailbuilder magazine
Freelance
Oaxaca, Mexico.
I was fortunate enough to be featured in Volume 1, Issue 1 of Trail Builder Magazine. A printed magazine dedicated to mountain bike trails, and those who build, maintain and advocate for them. In this case, I wrote about the trails in Oaxaca, Mexico, and how an international enduro race has contributed to the development of riding areas.

My passion for mountain biking has permitted me to travel with my bike and enjoy different corners of the world. Singletracks is an MTB news site that has allowed me to share some of my words and photos in publications such as: "Returning Home to Ride Mexico’s Unforgiving Gravel", in this story, I combined 35 mm film stills with a personal story of passion, friendship and devotion to cycling.

Whistler Bike Co.
Contract
Whistler, BC, Canada.
Working at Whistler´s original, independent, and locally owned bike shop was a unique learning experience. Meeting the demands of local riders and tourists ready to tackle some of the best yet roughest trails in North America was a genuine foot-in-the-door experience in the bike industry that has given me a lot of perspective and understanding of how the industry works. I even had the chance to join their yearly staff trip in the South Chilcotins Provincial Park, where I had the chance to snap some photos of the whole Bike Co. Crew shredding some perfect singletrack.
